Winter Soup : Soup of red lentils

We put in a pot 1.5 cups red lentils, pouring 4 cups water, add peeled and sliced carrots, cut an onion, salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Cook on low heat 30 minutes or until cooking lentils. Served with yogurt and a slice of lemon.
