Christmas ginger ginger bread cookies
Ingredients:- 175 g softened butter
- 175 g brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 450 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons ground ginger
For the glaze:- 1 egg white
- 100 g powdered sugar
- few drops of lemon juice
Preparation:- Beat butter and sugar until smooth. Gradually add eggs, sift flour, baking powder, ginger and pepper, knead a soft dough.
- Put the dough on surface sprinkled with flour, knead. Wrap in foil and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough 5 mm thick and cut out cup, hexagons. Within each hexagon a smaller cup, make a notch.
- Put cookies on baking trays and bake at 180 ° C for 8-10 minutes. The finished cookies absorb glaze and sprinkle with colored sprinkled.
- Glaze. Beat egg whites, powdered sugar and lemon juice in a dense foam.
